Warning about pre-fabricated garages, barns, and additions… Our Built On Site buildings are not pre-fab, unlike other folks. Sunrooms, decks, 1-2-3-4 car garages are not slapped together pre-fab made in a cookie cutter fashion like modular homes, modular barns. We are true custom builders. Anything is possible- honestly! Call the Pine Creek/Belle Springs nearest you, or call Mark Krause at 877-743-7559.

The Amish guys at our factory in Northern Pennsylvania laugh when they see a $60,000 car sitting out in the snow and rain, because the garage is already full! Protect your investments with a Pine Creek/Belles Springs Structures Garage.

Some Free Advice on Choosing a Garage: Make sure to get a structure that suits your vehicle now AND in the future.
JR Krause, manager of our Hershey/Elizabethtown location tells us:

"If you order a vinyl it will practically last a lifetime so make sure it suits you down the road. As much as we would like you to come back and buy another garage from us in 3 years when you traded in your 2 seater sport car for an extended cab 4 door truck, you should think about what vehicles you might store there in the future. And for a small percentage more, you think about combining your new garage with some storage. Cabinets, shelves, and workbenches can all be added to our 1 or 2 car garages so you have a structure that serves 2 purposes. And consider what you´ll be storing. If you want enough room for your truck and the riding mower, you may want to spend the couple of hundred bucks on the 2nd door on the side or the back so you don´t have to move the truck every time you want to get to the tractor."

If you want a 2-car garage- and this may sound wild- but consider a 2nd story. Guy Sheely, who can consult with you larger and "built on site from the ground up" structures, brings up a very interesting point:
"The majority of your costs will be with the first floor- the 2 car garage. So while you are making this investment, you really should think about a second story. I have seen our "Built on Site From the Ground Up" crews create spare bedrooms, guest quarters, offices, dens and just straightforward storage with the 2nd floor. It really depends on what you want- because if you can think it- we can build it."
So make sure to put some thought into what you want.

Pay special attention to your different choices of flooring. If you are in a snowy and wet area, you probably will better off putting down our hard to find rhino coated floor with rubber. We´re one of the few guys who thought of this and it will make your floor last much longer than if you purchased a standard wood based floor.

Home Improvement in the Fall and Winter?
  An Insider Explains...
   Thomas Finn, McGuire Media

"What most people don´t realize is that many home improvement jobs like sunrooms, decks, and free-standing garages, can be built during the fall and winter", explains Guy Sheely of Pine Creek Construction. "Our Amish construction crews aren´t as busy and because we need to keep the guys working, we usually offer lower prices."

"Sales on 2 car garages (shown here- 24x24) until 12/31/07"

While most construction companies roll up shop and close down, some local companies like Pine Creek keep right on working during these months that are not usually thought of as construction times. The biggest road block to getting your job done on budget and on time is about 2 weeks straight of weather below 32°. Since that is rare in this area, many informed home owners are choosing to have their improvement projects done sooner, rather than later.

"Sunrooms have fast turn around time. Ready in 2 - 3 weeks."

Make sure to interview the company you are considering to do the job for you. Find out about the experience, not only of the Foreman, but of all the workers who will be on your job site. "We can do a 24 foot by a 32 foot 2 car garage from the concrete up in about 2 days. 100% complete," says Guy Shelly with Pine Creek Construction. "Because we have such good workers that function as a team and our average employee has been with us for a couple of year, we don´t take nearly as long as some of the other home improvement companies. If they have workers that have only been doing this for a few months, it is easy to understand why they will be in and out and in and out of your property for up to two weeks."

"Standard Deck Construction is priced lower in winter months"

Another important question to ask is to pin down how long the company expects to take. Pine Creek Structures sends one crew to work on one job at the time. Because so many home-improvement companies are desperate for work, they may leave your project right in the middle of it without any kind of warning so that they can move on to a more profitable job, returning back to yours when this new job is finished. "I really like the way Pine Creek Construction was in and out in a few days. These guys don´t mess around. I had visions of pickup trucks, ladders, sawhorses and piles and piles of lumber cluttering my home and yard for weeks. I´m no expert, but I think it was because they send a full crew out that can get the job done right and get it done fast."

It all starts with getting an accurate quote, which can be frustrating. "I hear stories where folks called 7 construction companies about making a sunroom out of their existing deck. 3 never returned the calls, 2 got back to them but about a month later, and 1 place didn´t have an answering machine. We give a guaranteed quote in one week" says Sheely. "And because it´s a slower time of year for them, we can charge less than the spring and summer months."
