Some Advice on Garage Kits...
Check out any DIY (Do It Yourself) blog or posting board and you can read horror stories about missing pieces, incomplete instructions and completed garages that look nothing like the pictures.
You may want to consider the added stress and the time you'll have to put in in doing it yourself and weigh that against being able to completely customize your garage with hundreds of options and having it delivered ready to go!

Consider it your own 2 bay repair shop and by adding a few feet to the length, we can easily customize it for you to accommodate an office.
How to Shop For a Garage
Get started Here:
  1. First, choose the size you want. Most vehicles are 10 feet long, says Guy Sheely, Manager of our York location. Consider not only what kind of car you have now, but what you might be buying in the future. Our garages come with an inside height of 7'- a little bit more than some other guys. But if you are storing something taller, like a boat- we customize your garage for a little bit more to the exact height you are looking for.

  2. What's the function of the garage? Is it just to store 1 vehicle? Or do you want to store your family van and your boat? Do you want to include some storage space in there? Sheely advises, "Folks would be surprised to learn how cheap it is to add a bit more square feet. But once I explain that it's really just a matter of adding some material to the length, and it can be as little $11 per square foot- they start thinking about adding some storage space to the length, or a workshop."

  3. At least get a price on a 2nd floor. If you looking to add substantial square feet of living space by including a 2nd floor apartment or guest room, find out how much it would cost. All estimates from the Pine Creek Construction Team never have any obligation or any kind of pressure.

  4. Select a Style... You can get a garage in our Dutch styles- with a 4 sided roof line or the more standard pitched roof. "When I'm talking to people about their choices in garage style, I usually ask about storage- if they have a bunch to store, I point out that the Dutch roof allows for more overhead storage if you add a loft to it."

  5. Select a layout. Once you have chosen between 1 car, 2 car or custom, and you know about how long you want it, then give some thought to the layout of your new garage. Only Pine Creek Garages come with 9 x 7 insulated steel doors and one entry door a full 3 feet wide (36") wide. For no extra charge- you can work with us to decide which side you want your entry door on While you are working with us- since we are proud of our low pressure tactics- just ask how much it would be to turn this into your dream garage. "An extra entry door on the other side can be as little as $44, putting in a window as low as $24. If the folks are going to be working on their vehicles in the garage, I always figure out the price for a workbench. Depending on the size of your garage, these workbenches run between $50- and $100 extra. "

    As with all the structures, you are never under any obligation so just find out how much your ideal garage would be... peg boards? Cabinets? Ramps? Heightened walls? Double doors for your riding mower on the back?

  6. Select your siding. All garages come in choices of wood, vinyl or Duratemp- a (need Guys definition of Duratemp here) but our Custom Garages are actual built from the ground up so we can build it out of any material you like- brick, stone, or the same choices with our standard 1 and 2 Car Garages. "I have seen some beautiful garages built by our crews of craftsmen. A lot of them you can't tell that the garage was not built at the same time as the house- the match in materials is that good!"

  7. Select your colors For wood, click here for our color choices For vinyl buildings, click here For Duratemp, click here… Pick a garage door color - choose between clay, cream, white and dark brown. Next select your shingle colors... and finally your trim colors...
